Before you choose
Where can you ship steel-jawed traps?
We only supply and ship steel-jawed traps to Queensland and Western Australia. For all other Australian states and territories, we can only supply rubber-jawed traps. Please check local requirements for your intended use before ordering, or contact us if you need help choosing a model.
Which trapping lure should I choose?
The best choice depends on your target species, the conditions and the type of attraction you need. Our range includes food, gland and long-distance call lures, with species suitability outlined on each product page. Not sure where to start? Tell us what you’re targeting and we’ll help narrow down the options.
What is the difference between an LDC lure and a gland lure?
LDC stands for Long Distance Call. These lures produce a strong scent intended to attract attention from further away. Gland lures use animal gland scents to encourage investigation through social, territorial or breeding interest. The categories can overlap—a gland-based lure can also be formulated as an LDC.
Will one lure work for every animal?
Some lures attract multiple species, while others are developed specifically for wild dogs, foxes or feral cats. Check the intended species on each listing to choose a suitable option. Results also depend on animal behaviour, location and conditions.
Can I monitor my trapping site from my phone?
Yes—the Reolink Go Ranger lets you view your trapping site live and receive motion alerts through the Reolink app. It uses 4G connectivity, so you’ll need suitable mobile coverage, a compatible SIM and a data plan.
Why is freight so expensive for pig trap doors?
Pig trap doors are large, bulky items, and freight is calculated on the space they take up as well as their weight. Delivery distance and rural or remote locations can also increase the cost. Contact us with your postcode before ordering and we’ll help check the freight options for your location.
Why is there a lead time for pig trap doors and systems?
Our pig trap doors and remote systems are custom-made to order. We need time to build and prepare your setup before dispatch, and lead times vary depending on current demand. Contact us before ordering for an estimated timeframe.
