A large 70mm F2.0 objective lens helps maximise light intake, supporting strong image performance across varied lighting conditions. In low light, the NITE D70R performs well on its own, while for complete darkness it supports optional IR illumination in either 850nm or 940nm wavelengths.

Depending on the chosen IR illuminator and field conditions, this can provide effective night-time observation and identification out to around 200 metres.

Power System for Field Use

Power is supplied by a combined battery setup using a built-in battery alongside a replaceable 18650 cell, giving you flexible runtime for longer nights in the field. This dual-power arrangement helps reduce downtime and makes the scope more practical for extended hunting or pest control sessions.
