Minnesota Brand MB Crunch Proof Swivels

Crunch Proof Swivels are heavy-duty trap chain swivels designed to reduce chain twisting and keep the swivel operating freely under load. Built from a 2.6 mm thick steel body with two #6 J-hooks, they are significantly heavier than standard trap swivels and are made to handle hard-pulling animals.

Originally developed for heavy-duty MB foothold traps, these swivels are well suited to Australian trapping applications targeting wild dogs, foxes and feral cats. The thick body helps prevent the swivel from being crushed down onto the J-hooks, which can cause lighter swivels to bind or seize. For maximum strength when targeting larger wild dogs, the #6 J-hooks can be welded closed.
